The Panasonic Toughbook C2 semi-rugged convertible tablet supplies an impressive 11 hours of standard battery life and weighs only 3.6 lbs. It features an array of industry-leading advancements, such as offering a durable triple-hinge design that is easy to open and close with one hand — two hinges open and close the screen; and the third hinge rotates the screen into tablet mode. It also offers a unique bridge battery enabling battery replacement without powering the system down.The Toughbook C2 pairs the Intel® Core i5-3427U 1.8GHz processor featuring vPro technology with the Windows 8 operating system for an incredible mobile computing experience. The Toughbook C2 has 4GB SDRAM, a 500GB shock-mounted hard drive, and is also equipped with a built-in webcam, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth®, and optional 4G LTE mobile broadband.
It features a 12.5" 5-point capacitive multi-touch display that is extremely bright and sharp with direct bonding for wider viewing angles and a lighter design. The display accepts finger-touch input, as well as digital input with an electronic stylus. Corning® Gorilla® Glass 2 protects the top layer of the display while Panasonic's unique protective cage design helps to protect the entire display for a truly durable design.
The Toughbook C2's tough semi-rugged design offers protection against up to 30" drops and is spill-resistant. The C2's ergonomic strap is great for extended use and holding the notebook in any orientation. Integrated options, such as a barcode reader, SmartCard reader, bottom camera, and serial port, make the Toughbook C2 perfect for a wide range of applications and environments.
