The GD Itronix GD4000 semi-rugged notebook is designed to increase the productivity of the mobile workforce. It delivers computing power, wireless communications and outdoor performance for an exceptional mobile computing experience. The GD4000 notebook is certified to MIL-STD-810G military standards to withstand temperature extremes, humidity, vibration, altitude, dust, drops, and spills. The GD4000 provides the dependability, performance, connectivity, and security required in today's fast-paced mobile computing world.The General Dynamics Itronix GD4000 rugged notebook is powered by Intel® Core i5 and i7 processors to maximize computational power, while optimizing weight and power consumption. It features a 250GB shock-mounted hard drive, 2GB DDRIII RAM, and a 14-inch high definition LED display with sunlight-viewable technology and optional touchscreen technology. An optional 2 megapixel integrated webcam is also available.
The GD4000 offers a full set of embedded wireless technologies to give mobile users advanced wireless connectivity and increased productivity. Options include Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth®, and 4G 3G mobile broadband technologies, and Assisted GPS. Security features on the GD8000 include a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 1.2 security chip, fingerprint reader, SmartCard reader, and a cable lock slot to protect your valuable information
