With the WebDT 390 rugged tablet PC from DT Research (also known as the DT390), users can choose between Microsoft® Windows® Embedded Standard 7, Windows 7 Professional, Windows XP Embedded; Windows XP Pro for Embedded Systems, or Linux operating systems. The DT390 features a radiant 8.9-inch touch screen display and weighs only 2.43 pounds. This rugged tablet is designed to MIL-STD-810G and IP64 specifications to protect against environmental conditions and accidents, such as bumps, drops, or exposure to dust and water. The WebDT 390 offers flawless information capture for enhanced work productivity and performs anywhere — in the warehouse, in the field, on the sales floor.The WebDT 390 is powered by an Intel® Atom™ 1.6GHz processor, 2GB RAM, and 2GB flash storage for speed and performance. It has Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n and Bluetooth® 2.1 standard and an optional Gobi 2000 module (GSM/GPRS/EDGE, EV-DO networks with GPS positioning and navigation) to help users stay connected while in the field.
The DT Research DT390’s LED-backlit, 8.9-inch display is available with a sunlight viewable option for working outdoors. The display has a resistive touchscreen that accepts both pen and finger touch input. USB and optional integrated 3MP camera, magnetic stripe reader, barcode scanner, SmartCard reader, and RFID reader make the WebDT 390 tablet suitable for a wide variety of applications.
The DT390 is also available in a white, medical-grade housing for use in healthcare environments. The WebDT 390MD is durable and made from easily sanitized, anti-microbial materials.
