With the WebDT 372 rugged tablet PC from DT Research (also known as the DT372), users can choose between Microsoft® Windows® Embedded Standard 7, Windows 7 Professional, Windows XP Embedded; Windows XP Pro for Embedded Systems, or Linux operating systems. The WebDT 372 features a brilliant 7-inch touchscreen display and weighs only 2.43 pounds. This robust tablet and is designed to MIL-STD-810G and to IP64 specifications to protect against environmental conditions and accidental situations, such as bumps, drops, or exposure to dust and water. The WebDT 372 offers seamless information capture for improved workflow and performs anywhere — on the sales floor, in the warehouse, and in the field.The DT372 is powered by an Intel® Atom™ 1.6GHz processor, 2GB RAM, and 2GB flash storage for speed and performance. It has Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n standard and offers a complete range of embedded wireless options to help users stay connected while in the field including: WWAN/ GPS; Gobi 3G module for GSM/GPRS/EDGE, EV-DO networks with GPS positioning and navigation.
The DT Research DT372’s LED-backlit, 7-inch display is available with a sunlight viewable option for working outdoors. The display has a resistive touchscreen that accepts both pen and finger touch input. USB and optional integrated camera, barcode, SmartCard, and RFID readers make the DT372 tablet suitable for a wide variety of applications.
