The GD3080 fully rugged tablet from GD Itronix is built to withstand the harshest field conditions and has undergone rigorously durability testing. The GD3080 meets or exceeds MIL-STD 810G, ASTM 4169-99 vibration testing, UL1604 for safe use in potentially explosive environments and has an IP54 rating for dust and water intrusion. With a new Pogo pin docking connector, using office or vehicle docks is even easier and more reliable. This rugged, weatherized tablet PC withstands real world drops, spills and environmental extremes.The General Dynamics Itronix GD3080 rugged tablet is powered by an Intel® Core Duo 1.2GHz processor that is optimized for multitasking with amazingly low power consumption. It features 2GB DDRII RAM, a Lithium-Ion, battery pack, and an 8.4-inch DynaVue® sunlight-readable display with touchscreen. DynaVue touchscreen display technology provides better outdoor viewability than 1,000 NIT alternatives without sacrificing battery life or processing performance.
The GD3080 offers multiple wireless technologies to mobile users connected and increase productivity. Options include WWAN, WLAN, 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth®, and GPS. For heavy communication requirements, the GD3080 can run up to 3 RF modems and a GPS receiver at the same time.
Security features on the GD3080 include a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 1.2 security chip and an optional integrated fingerprint reader. For challenging work environments, the GD3080 fully rugged tablet is field-proven to provide secure, reliable, mobile computing.
