The Motion CL900 is a rugged and powerful tablet PC for field professionals requiring a tough device for working in harsh mobile conditions such as construction, field services, and healthcare. With dual touch technology, the Motion CL900 tablet PC enables mobile workers to use a digitizer pen and touch input to navigate both touch-enabled software applications and programs that require the accuracy of pen input, such as electronic forms and signature capture.The Motion CL900 weighs only 2.1 pounds and is rugged enough to withstand a drop from the back of a truck, a workbench or a hospital bed, and is sealed to protect against exposure to moisture, dust, harsh temperatures, and other conditions that can damage commercial-grade tablet computers while on the job. The CL900 rugged tablet's 10-inch display comes standard with Corning's® break-resistant Gorilla™ Glass to make the device durable enough for highly mobile workers.
The Motion CL900 rugged tablet computer offers up to a full day of battery life using Intel's® next generation Atom™ (1.5Ghz) processor running Windows® 7 Professional. It has a 62GB solid state drive and 2GB RAM. The CL900 is equipped with two integrated cameras — a rear-facing 3MP documentation camera and a front-facing 1.3MP web camera. Connectivity features include 802.11a/b/g/n WLAN, Bluetooth® 3.0, and a wireless SIM port for advanced communications. Motion offers integrated upgrades for the CL900 including Gobi™ 3000 mobile broadband with GPS capabilities. Additionally, the Motion CL900 is expandable and versatile, with docking and carrying options, as well as integrated peripheral modules for extra features like magstripe and fingerprint readers.
The CL900 SlateMate with magstripe reader and barcode scanner transforms the CL900 into a mobile point-of-sale and data acquisition tool. Securely integrated into the internal frame of the CL900, SlateMate offers extendability, durability and productivity in a small, lightweight device. For retailers, SlateMate's integrated MSR ensures easy deployments in point-of-sale environments while the commercial-grade BCS reads virtually any barcode for rapid inventory status and availability information. As SlateMate is designed as a seamless extension of the CL900, it offers the benefits of integrated tools without the need for third-party devices.Videos
