Mi-Forms Professional Designer
Mi-Forms Professional Designer is a robust program that enables you to design custom forms for a wide variety of applications. Its intuitive graphical interface allows you to easily build a form that is customized for your organization. The Mi-Forms Professional Designer has three key components: WYSIWYG layout tool for form design, a form rule builder for robust data verification, and point and click configuration of data exports.Layout is made simple through a series of tasks using drag and drop technology and dialogs within the Mi-Forms Professional Designer Software. Much of the layout is performed using buttons on the toolbar. These buttons allow for a vast range of data types and data collection objects to easily be included in the form: alpha fields of various lengths; numeric fields; alphanumeric fields, check box groups; free form fields; as well as a variety of specialized fields such as social security number and more, and a wealth of date and time fields. The form designer can also include images to enhance the look of the form being created. It is also easy to order, group, and align objects to give the form a more polished appearance.
Using the form rules within Mi-Forms Professional Designer, simple form rules are easily programmed during layout. You can specify required fields and cross-field validation rules (if, then). Mi-Forms supports many modes of exporting data to external systems. From Mi-Forms, data can be exported via ODBC, in XML files, or in comma-separated value (CSV) files. Images of forms and their ink or the textual values of fields can be exported in JPEG, GIF, TIFF, PNG, BMP, and PDF formats.
Mi-Forms Professional Client
Mi-Forms Professional Client allows users to capture new data using a Tablet PC or other Windows PC. On a tablet computer, it will convert handwriting into machine readable text as you write. Drawings, diagrams, and other data needed (images, audio, barcodes, etc) sources can also be captured. On a Windows XP computer or above, the Mi-Forms Client provides a keyboard and mouse-entry interface for capturing data.Mi-Forms Professional Client verifies the handwriting recognition results and validates data relationships on your forms. Verification and validation checks are performed in real-time, while the user is collecting data.
Recognized text, ink, and form page background data may be exported in a numerous formats (CSV, XML, ODBC, MSJet, Outlook, PDF, variety of image formats, etc.).
