The Panther 1000 RT ruggedized tablet PC is built to meet the demands of on-the-job mobile computer users. It is ideal for industrial and construction industry applications, public works deployment, and other demanding work environments that require a reliable and tough computing solution. The Panther 1000RT is built to Military standards (MIL-STD-810G) and is rated IP65 protection against dust and water.This fully rugged tablet PC comes with Intel's Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, a 320GB hard disk drive, and 1GB RAM. The Panther 1000's standard configuration includes a 10.2" WSVGA touchscreen/digitizer LCD display with LED backlight that is sunlight readable, built-in 802.11b/g wireless LAN, Bluetooth 2.0, TPM 1.2, and a 9-cell battery. Optional features include a GPS module for mapping and navigation and an integrated SmartCard reader (substitute for PCMCIA slot).
