The GD8000 rugged laptop is designed for the toughest user and tested to meet, and even exceed military standards, including temperature extremes, humidity, vibration, dust, drops, and spills. From its the water tight case and shock mounted display, to the ability to withstand 48" drops, the Itronix GD8000 is ready for years of rugged use.The GD8000 rugged notebook is powered by the Intel® low-voltage Core™ 2 Duo processing architecture and features a 320GB shock-mounted hard drive with a heater, 2GB DDRIII RAM, and a 13.3-inch DynaVue® display with touchscreen for excellent viewability in all lighting conditions. This rugged laptop has communications capabilities including 10/100/1000 bit Ethernet LAN and optional Bluetooth, 802.11, Gobi 2000, and GPS. Security features on the GD8000 include TPM 1.2 Network Security Standard, integrated fingerprint reader, integrated CAC (SmartCard) reader, a removable hard drive, and security lock slot to protect your valuable information.
The GD8000 is light weight and fully rugged. An optional full backlit keyboard allows you to work efficiently and safely at night. In addition, the integrated soft-grip handle on the GD8000 makes it easy to carry.
