The rugged and convertible Panther 2000 CV is manufactured for the mobile computing user that demands performance while on the go. The Panther 2000 CV comes encased in Magnesium alloy with protective doors for all the I/O ports and connectors. The unit has been field-tested for vibration and drops against the MIL-SPEC-810G standards. The Panther 2000 CV also comes with a built-in handle making it highly portable.The 12.1" WXGA touchscreen TFT LED backlight display quickly converts into a tablet PC. The standard configuration of the Panther 2000 CV includes Bluetooth, 802.11b/g/n, SmartCard slot, and an integrated webcam. Security features include a Kensington lock, TPM module and fingerprint scanner.
The display can be upgraded to a digitizer display to accept stylus and finger input. GPS can also be substituted in place of the SmartCard reader and USB port.
