It meets MIL-STD-810G and IP65 standards for durability and protection against dirt, dust, water, motion, vibration, temperature and other factors that would quickly damage or disable a commercial-grade tablet computer. The Getac E100 rugged tablet PC also has a 5-year bumper-to-bumper warranty!The E100 rugged tablet offers users an ultra-bright, 800 nit, 8.4 inch TFT LCD SVGA (800x600) sunlight readable display with integrated touchscreen. The display utilizes Getac's QuadraClear™ technology, enabling excellent viewing in any lighting condition.
The Getac E100 is powered by an Intel® 1.66GHz processor and 2GB RAM. It has an 80GB solid state drive contained in a watertight fully-rugged Magnesium Alloy case that is vibration and drop-shock resistant. The Getac E100 includes 802.11b/g wireless LAN and Bluetooth® connectivity as standard features. Integrated GPS is also standard on this configuration. The Getac E100 offers advanced security features to safeguard important data, such as TPM V1.2, a SmartCard reader, and a cable lock slot.
