Getac also reserves an array of expandable "mission boxes" designed for customized market applications that utilize RFID, barcode and magnetic strip readers, or digital cameras.
The Getac E100 is powered by an Intel® 800MHz processor and offers up to 5 hours of battery life. The rugged tablet has 1GB RAM and a shock-resistant hard disk drive, all contained in a watertight fully-rugged magnesium alloy case that is vibration and drop-shock resistant. The Getac E100 includes 802.11b/g wireless LAN and Bluetooth® connectivity as standard features. Mobile broadband and integrated GPS are available as options.
