The RMT Duros 1205-PS is a rugged, fixed-mount computer designed mainly for use in police cars, ambulances, security vehicles and fire trucks. The 1205-PS rugged fixed-mount computer features an ultra-thin design and is easily mounted on the dashboard; while it's ultra-bright daylight viewable 1000 nit touch-screen display offers a 120-degree viewing angle and can be controlled by a gloved finger, bare finger, pen, or any other pointing device.Its ultra thin, solid aluminum housing is sealed to IP65 to resist water and dust, making the Duros 1205-PS suitable for use in harsh environments. The 1205-PS has several useful features like a removable hard drive, screen blanking, wide-range voltage input, over-voltage protection, over-temperature protection, humidity protection, and more. Since fixed-mount computers are often subjected to considerable vibration, the interior of the 1205-PS is designed so all boards are securely mounted with multiple screws to prevent loose parts.
