The Getac V100 rugged convertible computer transforms from a rugged laptop to a rugged tablet PC with a simple rotation of the display. Its rugged design allows the V100 to perform flawlessly in extreme working environments where weather conditions and physical abuse are unavoidable. With an Intel® Core™ i7-640UM 1.2GHz processor with Turbo Boost Technology up to 2.26GHz and the Windows® 7 operating system, the Getac V100 convertible PC is equipped with the power needed for the most sophisticated software applications.The Getac V100 features a 10.4 inch display with Getac's 1200 NIT QuadraClear™ sunlight readable LED display technology for excellent viewing in any lighting condition. Getac's glove-friendly, multi-touch, display technology uses special software to recognize multiple simultaneous touch points. This allows users to carry out complex operations via the touch panel display with simple gestures, or using more than one finger at a time.
The V100 comes standard with a full-size waterproof, 83-key mechanical keyboard for ease of use with an option to upgrade to a backlit mechanical or backlit rubber keyboard. Great for field applications, the Getac V100 includes an integrated 2MP camera and an optional GPS receiver and antenna. Other comprehensive connectivity features of the V100 include Bluetooth®, wireless LAN 802.11 a/b/g/n, and optional Gobi™ 2000 3G.
The Getac V100 rugged convertible includes advanced TPM v1.2 security, a cable lock slot, and optional fingerprint scanner to safeguard important data.
Designed for use in the real world, the Getac V100 is lightweight at 5lbs, and is both MIL-STD-810G and IP65 compliant. It boasts a Magnesium Alloy case, shock mounted 320GB hard disk drive, and sealed I/O caps and doors to prevent damage from solid particles and moisture. It comes with 2GB DDR3 RAM standard, and is expandable to 8GB. The Getac V100 rugged convertible has a 5-year bumper-to-bumper warranty!
