The Microflex CE5000B brings efficiency, speed, long-battery life, and color to the frontline. The rugged and reliable CE5000B is powered by a high performance 520MHz Intel Xscale PXA270 RISC processor. The 3.5" QVGA color display is bright and easily viewable both outdoors and indoors. Users can choose to view the display in either portrait or landscape mode to make their life easier. Additionally, there is an anatomically correct handstrap to accommodate both left and right handed users.The system runs on Windows CE.NET 5.0. Users can interact with the OS through a highly ergonomic 52-key keypad which features four direct access function keys (ESC, CTRL, ALT and TAB). There is also an alphanumeric keypad with a separated numeric key grouping to speed up data entry. The keyboard also supports a programmable auto-repeat function to further increase user efficiency.
Weighing only 1.9lbs with battery pack, the CE5000B is loaded with features and sealed tight at IP-67 standards. There is also an integrated sealed speaker providing the user with audible feedback as well as support for an option al environmentally sealed microphone.
The rechargeable battery pack is accessible by the user and may keep the unit powered for up to 4 days. Power is conserved through an application independent power management system which supports automatic shutoff while retaining data.
