Extra lightweight but with exceptional environment resistance features, this series offers an innovative modular design that saves time and money on long-term service and provides customization options to suit your different applications.Utilizing Windows Mobile 5.0 (Premium Edition) software for Pocktet PCs, the Microflex 2240X is powered by an Intel PXA255 Xscale CPU at 200MHz or 400MHz. The pocket computer comes standard with 64MB of high-speed SDRAM and is available with 128MB or 256MB of nonvolatile flash storage.
The built in keypad allows for fast and effective menu navigation and quick access to commonly used applications. Built in a tactile manner, the keypad buttons are spaced widely enough apart so that the user may operate the device while wearing gloves. The built in sunlight-readable VGA display provides vibrant color and runs at a 240x320 resolution. The display itself is completely waterproof due to high performance sealing.
Expandability is provided through RS232 serial and USB ports for maximum compatibility. The machine also has 1x Type I and 1x Type II CompactFlash ports capable of supporting optional modules such as an AA PowerBoot Module and an Extended CF-CAP which can allow the Microflex 2240X to make use of larger accessories such as GPS Recievers.
